We're Noctilux Games
We are four friends who never really stopped playing.
What began around tables and late nights turned into something more. A desire to craft games that feel elegant, spark curiosity, and carry just the right amount of thrill. Games that invite you in instantly, without friction, yet unfold into something memorable.
At NoctiLux, we believe great games shouldn’t be difficult to teach to be worth playing. They should flow, surprise, and bring people together.
So we build experiences that look refined, play effortlessly, and stay with you long after the table is cleared.
The Team

Vangelis Matthaiopoulos
Founder & Managing Director
Vangelis is the operational engine behind NoctiLux Games. He leads the studio’s business strategy, production, supply chain, partnerships and international B2B retail development, building the commercial infrastructure that takes NoctiLux projects from ambitious ideas to physical products in players’ hands.
A market researcher and commercial strategist by background, he brings the decidedly less mysterious arts of planning, negotiation and spreadsheets to a studio otherwise preoccupied with monsters. From manufacturing and fulfilment to retailer relationships, conventions and international expansion, Vangelis keeps the many moving parts of an independent tabletop publisher moving in the same direction.

David Pecorini
Game Designer & Artist
David is the principal game designer and creature artist at NoctiLux Games, shaping both how its worlds play and how their inhabitants look. His work spans game systems, creature concepts and artwork, giving the studio’s tabletop worlds their distinctive physical character. His sculpting background also brings a three-dimensional way of thinking about creatures, from anatomy and silhouette to texture and movement.
Behind that work is more than 16 years in professional creature design, sculpting, prosthetics and props across film and television, including Dune, Doctor Who and Thor: Ragnarok. It is a rare background to bring into tabletop design, and a rather good excuse to keep making monsters.

Stefanos Pagonidis
Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager
Stefanos is the visual perfectionist at NoctiLux Games. A self-taught graphic designer whose eye for composition was sharpened by studying technical drawing at school, he shapes how each NoctiLux world is seen, read and experienced, from component layouts and rulebooks to typography, wording and player-facing UX.
A lifelong board gamer, he also helps define the aesthetic philosophy of each title while shaping how the studio looks, speaks and connects with its community, across social media, crowdfunding campaigns, creator relationships and major tabletop events. If something at NoctiLux looks effortlessly right, Stefanos has probably spent considerable time making sure it does.

Sara Parsi di Landrone
Founding Creative Voice
Sara has been part of NoctiLux Games from the very beginning, offering a trusted perspective on early concepts, prototypes and new ideas as they take shape. She acts as a creative sounding board for the studio, helping test assumptions, challenge ideas and provide instinctive feedback before a game reaches players.
Present at NoctiLux events and conventions, Sara supports the team with logistics and engages directly with players and visitors. That combination of early-stage feedback and hands-on involvement gives her a distinctive perspective, from first ideas and prototypes through to seeing how they are received in the real world.
